  • Yes. INTRO Columbus welcomes prospective residents from around the world, including international students attending The Ohio State University. Our leasing team is happy to help guide students through the application process, qualification options, and any additional requirements needed to secure housing near campus.

  • Applicants are typically required to provide identification information during the leasing process. For international students, this may include documentation such as a passport, visa information, proof of enrollment, or other identification and financial qualification materials depending on the application requirements.

  • Yes. If you would like to qualify using a guarantor, your guarantor must be a U.S. citizen and meet INTRO Columbus’ standard income and credit requirements.

  • Students can also take advantage of two alternative options for financial qualifications: prepayment of the security deposit or enrollment in the Guarantor Waiver Program. Security deposits are equal to two months' rent. The Guarantor Waiver Program is a convenient option that requires a monthly fee of approximately $70 and eliminates the need to provide a guarantor or pay a security deposit.

  • No. INTRO Columbus apartments are planned to come fully furnished for a smoother move-in experience. Apartments are designed with thoughtfully selected furniture packages along with in-unit washers and dryers, stainless steel appliances, custom closets, and modern finishes throughout the space. Residents should plan to bring personal items such as bedding, cookware, décor, clothing, toiletries, and anything else needed to make the apartment feel like home.

  • As leasing approaches, INTRO plans to offer multiple touring options to help prospective residents explore the community remotely. Depending on availability and leasing status, this may include virtual tours, video walkthroughs, live video tours, renderings, and digital leasing support to help students feel confident before arriving in Columbus.

  • INTRO Columbus is expected to see strong demand as leasing begins for Fall 2027. Students interested in securing preferred floor plans, pricing, roommate selections, or placement requests are encouraged to sign as early as possible once leasing officially opens.
